Story Telling Festival

This was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the stories and the experience of it all. It was interesting to see how Kim involved the children and kept their attention with voice variations and gestures. I liked how the different storytellers styles varied. I liked how involved they were with the kids and the audience. The kids seemed to really enjoy the stories. My favorite was Kim Weitkamp’s story about the flying jet propelled sled. It was funny and entertaining. I especially liked the part where her brother comes home and tells her that they had just seen a UFO, when it was really her and the Christmas lights. My only question is… How did the Christmas lights stay on flying through the air? I didn’t get to stay very long but I am glad I was able to go for a little while.
